Who are we?

Based in Denmark, Opend supplies products and solutions to the lab animal industry throughout Scandinavia.

What is personal data?

What is Opend’s legal basis for processing your personal data?

  1. Consent – By consenting to this Privacy Policy you are giving Opend ApS the permission to process your personal data for the purposes outlined above. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing tine@opend.eu.
  2. Legitimate Interest – You have requested or had dealings with Opend ApS previously and Opend ApS believes that you will be interested in the marketing information that Opend ApS is sending to you. If you receive our newsletter, you can always unsubscribe by clicking on unsubscribe in the footer of the newsletter.

What does Opend ApS do with your information?

Opend ApS will collect and use your personal data for one or more of the following purposes:

Opend ApS will process (collect, store and use) the information you provide in a manner compatible with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will endeavor to keep your information secure and will only keep it for as long as applicable law requires.

Where we have your consent to do so (e.g. if you have subscribed to one of our e-mail lists or have indicated that you are interested in receiving offers or information from us), we send you marketing communications by email about products and services that we feel may be of interest to you. Where do we store your information?

Opend ApS will not sell or pass on your personal data to unrelated third parties and will only use the information for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy.

Your data is stored safely with:

  1. Economics – this is our partner in order processing. Through this platform you will receive quotations, order confirmations, invoices and delivery notes.
  2. MailChimp – this is our Newsletter partner. Through this platform you will receive newsletters. If you do not want to receive newsletters from us anymore you may unsubscribe by clicking  unsubscribe in the footer of the newsletter.
  3. Outlook – this is our communication partner. We use this platform when we communicate with you.

Who has access to your data?

Persons employed by Opend ApS employees and persons employed by our partners – our book keeper ASA Bogholderi and our accountant Addere A/S – are the only persons who have access to your data.

The children’s online privacy protection act

This site is not meant for persons under the age of 13. We never collect or maintain information at our Site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes in the way we treat your personal data, or to the Privacy Policy, we will make that clear on our website so that you are able to review the changes.
